My New Thingo

 I have always been known as it but of a gadget woman, you name it, if its new, does a specalised job & its all shiny and pretty I WANT IT!

A couple of weeks ago I was wandering through spotlight and I spied these thingos, they found their way into my basket and up until the other day I had not looked at them.

Well let me tell you that they are the best elastic threading thingos I have ever used!

I can't imagine why I have put up with that wonky old safety pin all these years, cursing it every time it came apart, speared my finger & lost my elastic in

the casing of nearly everything I used it for.

Bye, Bye Safety Pin,  Hello flash new threading bodkin thingo!

Bermuda Boy

Hay, Hay Hay!!!

I have to tell you, there lots of things that I love about this time of the year.....

• There is the days warming up
• BBq's in the backyard
• Fresh Vegi's from my garden
• Swimming with the kids
• Day trips to the beach
• Christmas decorations twinkling in the shops
  
• The wonderment on my childrens faces when Santa begins to make his appearance

BUT

I have to say the smell of cut hay in the paddocks hearalds

the oncoming summer for this Brown Mouse!!

This week it has been full on Hay Making here, cutting, raking, baling........

is anyone going to offer to help bring it into the hay shed????

Introducing Doris.

I would like to introduce Doris

Isn't she cute?

I found her in a bargain shop in my little country town and

could not believe my good luck!

When I look at her she makes me feel like she

should be wearing a corset! She's very old world!

Although I pride myself on trying to take a half decent photo,

some of photos I was taking for my site was quite dodgey!

Now with Doris its a breeze!

So here she is dressed up in her finest

and one nude (sorry Doris!)

More Pouches than Skippy's Family Reunion...

The project of the day is pouches, lots of them,
in every shape and size.

These make great Christmas pressies, they fit lots of goodies in them. I'm thinking VERY cute sun-glass cases for that little fashion victim in your household.
